The stones are small, so the color isn't that obvious and these can be used with necklaces of other stones as well
S-hooks are my personal favorite style of clasp, I like the symmetry
Typically these are sold with both sides of S closed down to keep the rings from getting lost before the clasp is in storage or transit.
Once you add the clasp to a necklace, gently ease open one side only so you can hook and un-hook the clasp easily, but because one ring remains attached, you won't lose the clasp
