- Guatemalan Jadeite small medium green axe blade shape pendant 23mm long by 20mm wide at base. Jade is a very hard stone so the holes are small.
- From the workshop of Jay and Mary Lou Ridinger, archeologists, who discovered the source of ancient Maya jade in 1974. The source had been lost since Spanish conquest.
- They currently maintain a small museum in Antigua, Guatemala and employ dozens of Maya carvers who make contemporary and traditional designs for their shop.
- This is one of 12 colors of jade that can be found within the boundaries of the deposit discovered in 1974
