- Contemporary silver square Gau box with turquoise and coral accents. 39x50mm
- The front is decorated with wirework scrolls. The back is flat and removable. These boxed were originally designed to hold mantras prayers, herbs or medicines.
- The back is quite tight fitting. If you decide to open the box, do it carefully and replace the back equally carefully without deforming the metal. A loose fitting lid can easily get lost.

- These are from Nepal, but much of the work found there is, at least influenced by and sometimes even made by, refugees from Tibet or other neighboring countries. I'm calling the Asian beads and pendants I'm listing this month "Himalayan" to acknowledge the similarities and overlap in materials, design, and craftsmanship throughout the region.
