- These beads are priced and sold in sets of beads
- Vintage Indian sterling silver round beads formed 5x6mm. One row of largish silver granules is flanked by two considerably smaller rows and a collar, creating a bicone shaped bead.
- The granules are formed by dripping molten silver on a hard smooth surface. The silver forms into drops with are cooled and put through a sequence of sieves to separate them by size. Each is then meticulously soldered into place on a bead.
- We bought these beads in Jaipur, India in the early 1980s from a family of Jain silversmith who have become friends.
