- Vintage yellow melon beads from Indonesia, 9mm diameter on 19-inch strand
- The glass is semi-opaque with a milky, glowing "moon glass" effect underneath the yellow
- On top of the yellow there's been an attempt to antique the beads, possibly with ordinary dirt, because it comes off pretty easily with dish soap and a nail brush
- I prefer this kind of antiquing to the modern trend to add a crust of white glass for an antique effect, which is not so easily gotten rid of.
