- Clear, matte, six sided glass cylinders 16x8mm to 19x 8mm
- Indonesian recycled glass beads, cold worked and drilled from both ends
- Sometimes erroneously called "sea glass" because of their matte finish, these beads are actually made in Java Indonesia by melting down glass bottles and then then cutting up the resulting glass into beads of various shapes sizes and textures.
- These were relatively abundant in the later 1990s and early 2000s, but much harder to find now. The ones I'm posting this month come mostly from a collection I recently bought from a designer with excellent taste and broad interests.
- Only one set available, but I'm posting several similar ones.
