Description
- Large Vintage Indonesian recycled glass faceted bicone 28x20mm
- Indonesian recycled glass beads, cold worked and drilled from both ends
- The "sea foam" color was created in Java, Indonesia by melting down glass Coke bottles when the factory switched to cans. The resulting glass was then cut and ground into beads of various shapes, sizes and textures.
- These were relatively abundant in the later 1990s and early 2000s, but much harder to find now. Maybe because the supply of Coke bottle ran out.
