- When I bought a bunch of extraordinary Afghan Lapis collars a few years ago I got inspired to take them apart and reimagine them in new ways.
- Here three big medium size Lapis trapezoids combine with 10mm round lapis beads and pearls. 20 inches long.

- As a working jeweler who has supported myself, at least partially, with my work since I was in my teens, I've learned to make as many variations on a theme as can with any given set of materials before I put those away and select a new palette. With more complex colors combos I challenge myself to see how far I can "push" it by layering in tiny amounts of adjacent or complementary colors.
- All my work is strung on soft flexible cable wire. I prefer the Flex-Rite brand.
