- Strands of 8mm round lapis beads, 16-inch strands
- Natural Afghan Lapis with some calcite creating an overall dark denim effect - not to be confused, however, with "denim lapis", which is a much lower grade stone.
- Lapis lazuli has been prized as gem for more than 9000 years in India and Afghanistan. By the Middle Ages it reached Europe and made into the famous ultramarine pigment favored by painters of the Renaissance and Baroque.
