Description
- These beads are priced and sold by the strand of 50 beads
- Antique probably Chinese "moon" beads, opalescent white 16mm diameter
- These beads are in excellent condition, no chips or cracks, only one has has 2 very small pits
- These are wound beads from Asia, most likely Chinese production possibly 1800s, possibly made in Boshan for court chain beads. I found them in Northern Thailand in 1992.
- They show considerable wear at the ends as if worn against each other for a long time. A new wound bead often has unevenness at the ends were the swirl of glass it was made with ends.
