- Rainbow refers to the vivid blue reflected in the stone.
- Named for the moon, it is found in Sri Lanka, Myanmar, Madagascar, Australia, India & the USA.
- Long considered a sacred stone in India and was popular in Roman jewelry 2000 years ago, and in Art Nouveau jewelry of the early 20th century.
- Metaphysical writers consider Moonstone to be the “keeper of feminine mysteries,” a talisman on the inner journey, able to enhance intuition, and helpful in releasing frustration and surrendering to the natural cycles of life.
