Moroccan Tuareg necklace with 5 In Gall style pendants of striped ebony and silver set in etched silver, interspersed with 4 etched silver tabular pendants and strung with black glass beads and stamped tubular silver beads.
These could be worn as is, or dismantled to make several small necklaces and/or pairs of earrings.
The Tuareg are part of the larger cultural/linguistic group called Imazighen (signular Amazigh), the original inhabitants of North Africa. Their myths and history stretch back 9000 years.

Personally, I found the Imazighen (aka Berbers) to be charming, creative, kind to animals and strangers, great cooks, musicians, and generally wonderful people, can't wait to go back to Morocco to learn (and shop) more.
