Description
- Medium length lightweight and casual necklace of natural Turquoise round and oval beads with rare mini chips.
- Framed Turquoise discs are set off by 6mm round and small oval natural Turquoise beads and faceted 6mm carnelian coin shapes and rondelles. Brass heishi spacers and a bronze hook and eye clasp finish it off.
- I bought the mini chips in Arizona more than 40 years ago. I like the contrast of textures, which adds interest to necklaces that stick mostly to one color. Turquoise and coral have been paired together for ages in cultures all around the world. Using carnelian instead provides color harmony without endangering corals.
