- These beads are priced and sold individually
- Brass 18mm diameter by 8mm thick thick disc shape beads inlaid on both sides and all the way around the edges with turquoise/resin mixture
- Similar to the "block" turquoise made in the US, finely ground turquoise is mixed with a clear resin. Color is sometimes added. When hardened this material can be carved into various shapes. Here I suspect it was added to the brass frame of this bead in a semi-liquid state.
- These shapes can serve as focals or add a dramatic counterpoint to necklaces made with mostly round beads
