- These beads are priced and sold by the set of 15
- 8mm diameter with mostly 1mm holes
- Tomato red-orange Prosser beads, also sometimes called Padre beads because they are roughly the same size and shape as turquoise Padre beads. However, true Padre beads are wound rather than molded.
- The molded bead-making technique used here was invented by the button-making Prosser bothers in 1830's in Bohemia (now Czech Republic) and named after them.
- Great quantities of Prosser beads were made for the African trade
- Prosser beads are charachterized by a faint mold line around the equator or the bead.
