- Indian imitations of Sherpa Coral beads, which themselves are imitations of real coral beads.
- I bought these from a designer so I don't know if they were ever used in Nepal. They might have been shipped straight from India to the US, in which case they should not be called Sherpa Coral. Only those that have actually been used in one of the Himalayan countries deserve that designation.
- These are interesting though because of the care that was taken to make these look like real coral with pits and crevices. It seems these may have been made by embedding tiny gravel chips into the glass and then knocking most of them out.
