- Vintage turquoise glass "snake" beads 9mm diameter on 23-inch strands
- These beads, designed to imitate real flexible snake vertebrae that were used as necklaces in Africa, were made by several glass industries in Bohemia, now Czech Republic, France, and possibly other areas.
- Different makes had different patterns, in some the high and low point of the the interlocking beads were more pointy than others, but many can still work together
- Made late 1800s to early 1900 for the African trade
