These pendants may be given as wedding gifts to women upon marriage, or to infants. gifts The triangular pendants are believed to ward off the “evil eye” and the half circle shape counter spells having to do with the moon. Collectively telsum have a reputation for enhancing fertility.
Traditionally they are strung on a purple cord, I sometimes substitute amethyst beads.
