Description
- Sadly I don't know what this is, only that it came to me in a trade for beads with a reputable dealer in Tibetan antiquities. He said it was 17th century.
- It appears to be cast in iron, possibly with additional work, then gold plated
- The workmanship most resembles the hilts of antique Tibetan swords or daggers, but it might be some other kind of ornament for humans or horses.
- I'm pricing at the value I traded for it nearly 50 years ago so, maybe it's a great deal for someone who knows what it is.
- I had intended to use it as a pendant, but never got around to doing that, now it's somebody else's turn.
