These are beautifully shaped and silky smooth
Turquoise is a very soft stone so this would be impossible to cut and drill if the stone weren't stabilized first.
Stabilizing involves soaking the rough stone in a solution of resin that penetrates all microscopic cracks in the rock an hardens it, so it can be cut and drilled without crumbling. Frequently color is added, but not in this case.
Personally I can't wait to use these for earrings and necklaces - for example with some of the "gold-framed" beads: GMO-561, GMO-576, GMO-577 & GMO-571
Even though they are stabilized, I'd hesitate to use these for bracelets, the rough treatment bracelets get could be too much for this delicate shape.
