- Wood Netsuke handcarved in boxwood depicting a man carrying a heavy load
- 55mm tall and 36mm wide at widest point
- The hole rund vertically through the figurine
- These were inspired by Japanese netsuke which were part of the Inro, ojime, netsuke ensemble designed to hold small objects since kimono had not pockets.
- The Inro was a small multi-compartment box on a cord, the ojime was a bead used to keep the box closed and the netsuke kept the inro was like a counterweight to keep the inro from sliding off the obi (wide belt or sash).
